Bread and Puppet is an alternative theater and politics project located in Northeastern Vermont. The pictures here are a series of shots taken inside their museum (located in Gover, Vermont) in Summer of 2002.

There is no real way for 2-dimensional photography to capture the inside of this building. Upon entering you are literally surrounded by puppets, some of which are larger than you can imagine. These pictures capture just a small aspect of the sort of puppetry and artistry they practice. They are no subsitute for seeing it live
